Abraham "Bram" Stoker (November 8, 1847 – April 20, 1912) was an Irish novelist and short story writer, best known today for his 1897 Gothic novel Dracula. During his lifetime, he was better known as personal assistant of actor Henry Irving and business manager of the Lyceum Theatre in London, which Irving owned.

A young librarian, Jonathan Harker, is welcomed at Castle Dracula by the Count and a young woman named Tania. Dracula attacks Harker, who attempts to escape the castle, but is killed by a wolf. Harker's wife, Mina, worried about her husband, visits the castle, and falls under the spell of the Count. Lucy also becomes undead. Meanwhile Van Helsing prepares for final combat.
